Referral Programme Terms

These terms govern the AlbumTeller referral programme (the “Programme”), run by Labsforge – Software Consulting, Lda (“Labsforge”, “we”). They supplement the AlbumTeller Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which continue to apply. By sharing your referral code or link, or by using one, you accept these terms.

1. Who can take part

1.1 Any customer with an AlbumTeller account can act as a referrer, except customers enrolled in the AlbumTeller partner or manager programmes.

1.2 There is no limit to the number of people you may refer. You cannot refer yourself: a referral in which the referrer and the referred person are the same customer earns nothing.

1.3 If you later join the partner or manager programme, you earn no further credit. Credit already earned stays in your account, and your code keeps granting the discount to the people you refer.

2. Your referral code and link

2.1 Your account shows a personal referral code and a link to the AlbumTeller pricing page that carries that code.

2.2 When someone opens your link, a cookie records your code in their browser for 30 days. If they open several referral links, the last one opened counts. A voucher code typed at checkout, or carried in a link, takes precedence over a referral.

2.3 You may share your code with people you know, in a personal capacity. You may not distribute it through paid advertising, mass mailing, coupon or discount sites, or any channel that presents it as an official AlbumTeller offer, and you may not present yourself as acting on behalf of Labsforge.

3. What the referred person gets

3.1 The person you refer gets a discount on their first purchase as a new customer, on any AlbumTeller licence: monthly and yearly plans, per-project licences and packs. The percentage in force is shown on the pricing page when the referral is applied.

3.2 The discount is applied on top of any discount the licence already carries, on the already discounted price. It covers the referred person’s first 3 payments for that licence; after that, the plan renews at its usual price.

3.3 Only a new customer qualifies: a person whose account has never had a paid subscription or order with Labsforge.

3.4 The discount cannot be combined with another voucher. If another voucher is applied to the order, the referral is not used.

4. What you earn

4.1 For each of the referred person’s first 3 payments for the licence bought with your referral, you earn account credit worth 15% of the amount they paid, VAT included. Later renewals earn no credit.

4.2 Credit is recorded in euros and converted to the currency of your purchase when you use it.

4.3 Each credit is first recorded as pending. It becomes available 15 days after the payment that earned it, provided that the referred person’s plan is still active on that day or, for a one-off purchase, that the purchase has not been refunded. Otherwise the pending credit is cancelled.

4.4 If a payment is fully refunded, the credit earned by that payment is cancelled. If you have already spent it, your balance becomes negative by the same amount and is offset against future credit; you are never asked to pay it back. Partial refunds do not affect the credit.

5. Using your credit

5.1 Credit is applied at checkout on the AlbumTeller website or in your online account, when you buy a new plan or upgrade a current subscription. You can use all or part of your balance in each purchase.

5.2 Credit cannot be used for automatic renewals charged through PayPal or Stripe, for purchases made inside the AlbumTeller desktop app, or together with trial vouchers.

5.3 Credit does not expire, cannot be converted into cash or refunded, and cannot be transferred to another account.

5.4 Credit is applied as a discount on the invoice of the purchase in which it is used.

6. Fair use

6.1 Labsforge may withhold or cancel credit, and may exclude you from the Programme, if a referral results from a breach of these terms or from abuse, such as creating accounts in order to earn credit, misleading the referred person, or circumventing the conditions in section 3.

6.2 Credit cancelled under this section is lost. Discounts already granted to referred persons acting in good faith remain.

7. Changes and end of the Programme

7.1 Labsforge may change the discount percentage, the credit amount, the waiting period and the other conditions of the Programme, or end it, at any time. Changes are published on this page and apply to referrals made after publication.

7.2 Credit already available in your account when a change is published, or when the Programme ends, stays usable under section 5.

8. Personal data

8.1 How Labsforge processes personal data in the Programme is described in the Privacy Policy, section 2.9, “Referral programme”.

9. General

9.1 These terms are governed by Portuguese law. The AlbumTeller Terms and Conditions apply to anything not covered here, including dispute resolution.
