Do I need to have an account to explore AlbumTeller?

No, you are totally free to explore the software without having to create an account.

How to create an account?

Creating an account at AlbumTeller is a simple and intuitive process. You can register yourself using your google account by clicking on Google Icon. 

If you prefer, you can create a new account manually. All you have to do is:

  1. Find the login button on the top left of your screen;
  2. Click on ‘login’ and ‘create account’;
  3. Fill in the form and create your account;
  4. You will receive an email with a link to confirm your account.

After this, your account is officially created and you can start exploring the amazing AlbumTeller.

How do I change my personal data?

To change your personal data you need to be logged in and access “profile”. You can change or add your personal details. 

When you’re finished click at ‘Save’ and your details will be updated.

I forgot my password. How do I recover it?

Recovering your AlbumTeller password is fast and easy.

  1. Find the login button on the top left of your screen;
  2. Click in ‘Forgot password’;
  3. Enter your email and click submit;
  4. You will receive an email with a temporary pin;
  5. Insert or paste the pin and you’ll be logged in.
How can I change my password?

To change your AlbumTeller password, you need to be logged in, go to ‘security’, introduce the new password and save.

How can I delete my account?

If you want to delete your account, please contact our support team by email: support@albumteller.com

Subscription

What plans do you have available at AlbumTeller?

We have several plans thinked to adjust to your needs and your pocket. 

Start by selecting with or without proofing. 

You can then opt between a licence per use, per year or per month. The licence per year is the one we suggest, once it has a 20% discount compared with the others, however, you are free to select any of the available options. And if you change your mind, no worries, you can change your subscription at any time.

Can I use AlbumTeller and all its tools without subscribing?

Yes, practically all features are available without any subscription. You only need the subscription to export files or use the cloud-proofing.

How do I subscribe to one of your plans?

It is very easy and fast to subscribe to one of the AlbumTeller plans. All you need is to be logged in and go to ‘Subscription’. 

Here you will find the available plans. Don’t forget to select the option ‘with’ or ‘without proofing’.

After you decide what plan to choose, click on ‘buy’ and you will be redirected to the payment page.

What advantages do I have in subscribing to the ‘with proofing’ option?

The cloud proofing service helps you in contacting the client for album approval. So, among other advantages that you can check here,  subscribing to this service will save you a lot of time and ensure that your client has a much more pleasant experience without having to exchange emails, phone calls and text messages.

Can I use my subscription on different devices?

Yes, but you need to authorize the device first. After you login on a different device, we will send you an email with a temporary pin. This is a security measure to prevent bad usage of your subscription if someone gets your credentials.

How can I change my plan?

The first thing to do is login at AlbumTeller. After this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to ‘subscription’;
  2. Click on ‘change subscription’;
  3. Select the plan of your preference.
How can I consult the details of my subscription?

To consult the details of your subscription with AlbumTeller, you need to be logged in. Go to subscription and you will be able to consult the following details about your subscription:

  • Payment interval
  • Next Payment
  • Next amount
  • Payment method
How can I cancel my subscription?

The first thing to do is login at AlbumTeller. After this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to ‘subscription’;
  2. Click on ‘cancel subscription’.

Your subscription will be cancelled. Feel free to subscribe to it again at any time.

Payments

What payment methods are available?

You can payment your subscription using the following payment methods:

  • Paypal
  • Credit card: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover (this service is provided by Paypal).

How will I know that my payment was successful?

You will receive a massage right after confirming the payment. You will also receive a confirmation email. Therefore, after placing the payment, you can check your inbox.

How do I have access to my invoices?

You need to be logged into your AlbumTeller account. After this, just go to ‘Invoices’ and you will have access to all your invoices. 

All your invoices will also be sent via email after payment.

On what platforms does AlbumTeller work?

The software runs on Mac, Windows and Linux.

What are the minimum system requirements for AlbumTeller?

Mac (Intel / M1 / M1 Max)

  • CPU: Intel 64bit processor or the new apple silicon arm64 processor
  • RAM: 1024Mb*

Windows

  • CPU: An Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that’s SSE2 capable
  • RAM: 1024Mb*

Linux

  • CPU: An Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that’s SSE2 capable
  • RAM: 1024Mb*

* For the software to run smoothly we recommend a minimum of 8 GB of RAM.

How do I set my preferences?

Go to settings (lower left corner) and set your preferences. 

Here you can: 

  • Set the language
  • Choose the Units: centimeters, inches, and pixels.
  • Define the theme: System, Dark or Light
  • Select your preferences regarding image quality: Image scaling threshold warning and export quality.
How do I change the AlbumTeller theme?

Go to settings (lower left corner) and set your theme preferences.

How do I change the AlbumTeller Language?

Go to settings (lower left corner) and set the language.

How do I save my projects?

Your projects will be automatically saved on your computer.

How do I access my projects?

You don’t need to be logged in. All you need is to open the app and the list of your projects will show organized by:

  • Pending
  • Editing
  • Proofing
  • Complete
Can I access my projects on another computer?

Not for the moment. You will only be able to access your projects in the computer you have the AlbumTeller software installed.

Newsletter and promotions

Should I subscribe to newsletters?

Newsletters come with good news! To stay up to date and be the first to know about our promotions we advise you to subscribe to our newsletters. you will always have an unsubscribe option to stop receiving them.

How do I change the permissions for sending newsletters?

In order to do so, you need to open a newsletter from AlbumTeller that you have received and go to the bottom and click ‘Unsubscribe’.
